Local is better. We produce our beverages in-house, with the care and integrity of a craftsperson. We source ingredients locally when we can and produce in small batches to preserve freshness & quality, and we invest in our environment by doin our absolute best to reduce our footprint.

Luckily us humans have started to take a good look at our footprint on this planet, and as a result leather consortiums and regulatory agencies have been created. These agencies help regulate the process of tanning as a means to protect our environment, communities, and the people directly creating the materials.

Our story started in 1981 when our founder opened a cart on Church Street in Burlington, Vermont and began selling Teddy Bears that he made in his garage. Over 40 years later, our Bears continue to be best friends, a part of the family and beloved heirlooms. Each one of our meticulously-designed, artisan, handcrafted Bears is guaranteed for a lifetime. We have always been fans of great beards. Ozark Beard Company was started because we wanted more out of beard care products for a great-low price. Working with my hands has always brought me a great deal of satisfaction. I also hate spending money on goods that are not made well. As a result of this, if I can't find it, I’ll make it. We are deeply committed to the sourcing quality beans and loose leaf teas to produce our premium coffees & tea. 95% of our coffees and teas are directly sourced from coffee and tea farmers. We believe that importing our products directly from the farmers allows the farmers who depend on the coffee and tea trade to grow, provide a livelihood dependent upon the trade.
