Simply Soothing, Inc., founded in 2003, manufactured natural personal care products and home goods in Columbus Junction, Iowa. In 2008, the state of Iowa suffered massive flooding and the post-flood stagnant water drew in many gnats, which made it difficult to be outside. The founder wanted to make a gentle bug repellent so her 5-month-old grandson could enjoy being outside. She developed a gentle, natural insect repellent, affectionally named Bug Soother® which smelled great, felt great on the skin, and was safe for her grandson.

WREN was founded in 1994, powered by rural women committed to the mission of supporting better lives and livelihoods through education, economic development and community engagement in the North Country. Through the years, WREN’s work has impacted thousands of people across New Hampshire’s North Country. We provide technical assistance training and market access for local entrepreneurs, artists and makers, and organize educational, cultural and social events for the entire community. The Store and Gallery at WREN support the livelihoods of local artists while contributing to the vitality of the North Country.

Echo-Lit was founded in 2008 in the Charleston, West Virginia home basement of Chris Rice and Jeanne Stevenson. Three years ago we expanded to our brick and mortar shop. We design original and unique art to inspire and to educate while supporting our local artists. Our designs are now on posters, fine art prints, note cards, calendars, notebooks, ball caps and more.

Our Roomie organic cotton is a modern twist on a classic material with added benefits of sustainability and functional design.

Struck with a brand vision, and inspired by the support from our community of Hedoines - it was 2017 when we left our jobs in finance and called a very important weeting (wine meeting). As natural problem solvers, when something is broken, we fix it. Think of the most annoying necessity? Sagging, pinching, laddering, lunch-break wasting. We were having a ‘tightbulb’ moment, it was time to reinvent tights.
