Girl Meets Dirt was born of the land. Grew limbs through storms, gained strength with rain, knowledge with history, rootedness with dirt under her fingernails. Seedlings rose, and bore fruit. And she watched, curious & hungry, and learned the art of stretching bounty into winter. This is where the story ends (it always ends) but begins anew – with worn muddy boots and kitchen clogs – a journey in steps, stems, pear seeds, plum pits, and apple flesh. A journey to the fruit of the matter & back, on one island farmette.

As a company, we simply set out to create and provide you with chocolate. Chocolate that’s harmless. We believe that us humans are innately good and most of us would never deliberately hurt our fellows. Although, most of us also don’t know what goes on behind the scenes.

Our soaps are all-natural, handmade, toxin and GMO free. Each soap’s base consists of soybean oil, goat’s milk, olive and coconut oil, sodium hydroxide, shea butter, distilled water, emu oil, vegetable glycerin and Vitamin E. Essential oils are added for their amazing aroma and homeopathic benefits.
