Figlia was born out of a desire to have more honest and inclusive conversations around alcohol consumption. The inspiration for creating Figlia is one that is very personal. For most of my young life, I watched my father battle with alcoholism and at the age of 20, I lost him to the disease. Alcoholism comes in many shapes and sizes and may be closer to you than you realize.

The brand was put together by four girl friends from Manila (that's us!). Though we have different interests, we share a common love for two things: lowering carbon emissions, and feeling fly in a sundress with pockets. Sunki was born when we noticed the lack of options for local clothing brands that were stylish, reliable, accessible, and most of all — didn’t take a giant dump on the environment.

All electric energy is offset by Arcadia Power, a local wind and solar clean energy provider. Our effort in helping to reduce America’s dependence on dirty fossil fuels. Healthy skin is as easy as cleanse, hydrate protect and go. We’re about minimal effort for maximum skincare results. All you need are a few essential products to properly hydrate skin.

Approximately 90% of our collection exists out of natural fabrics. Natural fibers are capable of being decomposed by bacteria or other living organisms and thereby avoiding pollution. In the end of the life cycle, they will always return to nature. In contrast synthetic fabrics (such as polyester) stay in the loop forever and pollute our waters and bodies. If possible we work with certified fabrics, such as organic cotton.
